Consumer tastes and food preferences are ever changing. We are always looking to ensure that we stay on top of the latest food trends and provide options to consumers that fit their dietary needs, and food preference changes. As a result of an increased focus on more plant-based protein options and choices, we have developed our newest member of the Stawnichy’s Family of products: The Spicy Bean Burger!
It is a high protein black bean burger (15 g of protein per patty) made with the highest quality ingredients. It is fully vegetarian, gluten friendly and vegan. They are sold in packs of 4, and are perfect for frying in the pan, or for the BBQ (best to prepare from frozen). They have a fantastic depth of flavour and are a wonderful addition to your family’s meal plan.
They can be topped with a variety of accompaniments, including chipotle aioli, a grilled Portobello mushroom, pico de gallo, salsa verde, or in the case of our recipe below, fresh homemade guacamole.
They can also be a great addition to your family’s dinner as a crumble in a burrito bowl, or even breakfast as they go wonderfully with eggs – they are a favourite of our General Manager Justin’s family!
Give them a try today… you won’t be disappointed!
